Coming back to the indie press, I didn’t know what to expect so definitely held off on great expectations and idealization…

More than a welcoming experience, not only did we engage with former contributors of DFP but we’ve made some new friends who actually had some pretty brave things to say during these turbulent times and who wouldn’t it?

The old mantra to the DUMPSTER FIRE PRESS was “trigger and implode” which is great however we are in the era of great implosion so what better time than to seize power of the arts and free speech?

When I first got back into the counter-culture publishing gig the notion was veil over everything transpiring in a clever manner and I still like dig the method but in conjunction with that I’m all about saying the quiet parts loud in our own unique individualized manner and perception.

For what our the “quiet parts” but he unspoken taboo called “truth”.

Although we each have a truth…possibly some more deceptive than others but via deception there’s a culling when things don’t work out tangible real life and perhaps that’s where the processing of revelations occurs when one can individuate and break particular cycles of thought keeping our minds at bay on prison planet (if you know, YOU KNOW).

Oh yeah, still classy as ever…alright pending cover for now…will probably ultimate go with it ’cause I’m a lowlife, you can pluck the editor and chief out of the dumpster fire but not completely from the dumpster once it’s been doused out.

That being said, having been energized by the general enthusiasm with a return to the indie press, I’ve finally learned to slow my role.

I initially got into publishing for the joy of it until it became an obligation and I was starting to feel it again even though I brought on just about a a brand new team of editors, so we could branch out as a multiple entities at a rapid pace, realizing maybe that’s not the best course of action.

It only took being forced to move to a new renovated apartment due to forced renovations at my place.

So amidst the move and the demands of my real job…

The schedule here is shifting at BP, instead of every day we will be publishing FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY with maybe a surprise post during the week.

This allows the editor in chief to have a life, which is really just handling individual manuscripts from creators we will publishing in the near future along with my own creative endeavors and time to breathe.

Starting today, BP is going on hiatus until next Saturday or the following Friday after Thanksgiving.

Giving me time to set up the new place and engineering a proper workspace.

By the slowing the publication schedule down and treating this as a pleasure rather than an obligation keeps the quality of publication and any other multimedia efforts we want to dive into at a certain standard we wish to retain.

There will be some mistakes, maybe even some misdirection but it’s all about fun right now…

the people are starving for images & we must tell them maniacal things!
